HEAD OF THE CLASS with APOOO

HELLO Book Club Family!

In September the theme at APOOO is Head of the Class…and it’s all about book clubs. If you belong to a local or online book club and would like to rep your group, please contact me. Each day a different book club will be featured. Your group will have an opportunity to stop by for a  virtual ‘meet and greet’ each day. Book club with the most comments will receive prizes.

IF you would like to have your book club featured, please email me directly at apooo4u@yahoo.com. Participation is limited to the first 20 groups. Oh, and did I mention there will be book prizes and amazon gift certificates?  The book club best repped–with the most comments–will receive books to use for an upcoming book-of-the-month (BOM).  The book that’s been selected is a new release…actually it’s not due out until the end of October…so your book club could win a book that hasn’t even hit the market yet…and you can spread the word to help spur sales for the authors. I believe it’s a book that many will enjoy. The book is Sinful Too by Victor McGlothin.  UPDATE:  Another title is now avaialble for giveway–the newest release by Xavier McKnight.  Additionally, each day a book will be raffled off to one lucky individual who stops by and leaves a comment.  So readers–20 of them–can win books as well.

Finally, the individual/reader who stops by and leaves the most unduplicated comments during the salute will receive an amazon.com gift certificate for $25.

Are you ready to go to the Head of the Class with APOOO? Email me today to get more details and find out how your book club can be added to the mix.

  4. I’d like to highlight the READERS’ PARADISE book club. As an author, I’ve done numerous book club visits to discuss my debut novel last year. READERS’ PARADISE was the most engaging, the most enthusiastic, the friendliest and the most critical readers I’ve encountered. They are a group with a passion for reading, but more importantly, a zest for life. They take bonding to another level–beyond the pages of the book–and make trips and visit sites connected to the novels they read, hosts book club discussions using the theme or setting of the book, and they support authors on tour, popping up at the most unexpected places. I give this book club two thumbs and eight fingers up!!
