In Blood We Trust by F. D. Davis

I do not know if I really believe in soul mates. I am leaning more toward it is a possibility. All things are possible in Christ. Adam and Eve were together before Eve was Eve and before Adam was a vampire. Now that Adam did the very thing Eve asked him not to do, she has to learn to trust him through the blood. Will Adam and Eve be able to get over the obstacles standing in the way of their love in F. D. Davis’ In Blood We Trust?

Adam is a very strong and powerful vampire. No one defies his orders, unless they want to meet death. However, Eve is very unhappy with Adam’s choice to save her life by turning her into a vampire and will stop at nothing to be mortal again. Longing to be loved and romanced by Adam, Eve is hurt time and time again; running to Sullivan for solace. Sullivan will help her no matter what Adam said. They are the only ones Adam did not scare easily. Who will be the one to help Eve feel almost human again, and at what price?

I do not know if this has ever been heard of before, but for me it is a first. I had a favorite chapter where there was no repetitious banter; instead I read action-filled page after page. Before that chapter the story was a bit slow moving for me, but after that it moved along pretty quickly. Since I was reading a galley, I can only hope the errors I came across were caught before the manuscript went to final print. I recommend In Blood We Trust to readers who like paranormal, vampire stories.

  1. Wonder why they would use Adam and Eve from the Bible, to later make Adam a blood-sucking vampire. I guess it works for those who read the Bible to see how this book comes out. I hope they fixed the grammar errors too, but sometimes editors are only human. Might have to check this book out, is it in print?
