The Brown Bookshelf Needs You

Greetings,

 

The Brown Bookshelf kicked off our first summer chat series last month, but we need your help!  In August, we want to hear from teen readers and be able to dialogue with them in our MySpace group about what makes them pick up a book, favorite books, and what they would like to see on the bookshelves.  Through the Hype Hype Hooray chat on August 6, 2008, we hope to introduce teen readers to titles and authors to expand their reading repertoire and interests.

 

We are asking for your help by posting about the August Chat on your blogs, newsletters, and any other forms of communication. Please inform the members of your book club who have teen children, nieces and nephews, or cousins to invite them to check out the Brown Bookshelf because we really want to hear from them. 

 

The chat is scheduled for August 6th at our Myspace forum 9-10 p.m. Eastern time. And then we are asking for the guests to check back daily for five days after, to catch questions from stragglers or those who cannot make the delayed real-time chat.
