Charity is having trouble getting her contract renewed. Is it possible that Lynzee has had her blacklisted? With her savings dwindling, Charity struggles to pay her bills, and the pressure is putting incredible strain on her marriage. Things only get worse when Lynzee drops a bomb: she reveals that Charity’s husband is the father of a child she gave up for adoption years ago.

I started writing Starless Sky in 9th grade at 14 years old and finished at 15 years old. I am now a senior, looking forward to graduation. While I am a young author, I recognize the need to continue growing and learning; so, in the fall of 2011, I plan on attending college in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in English with a Creative Writing emphasis.

How did you come up with the premise for your book title?
After reading Matthew7:6, the revelation came to me that many women were casting their pearls before swine. Women, including myself, were settling for mistreatment in relationships and I felt compelled to write some words of wisdom to shine light on that subject so women wouldn’t get ensnared in the wrong kinds of relationships.

Who doesn’t need love and forgiveness? The fact that we all need love and forgiveness makes this book valuable to anyone who picks it up. We all need a better understanding of the processes involved in loving and forgiving each other in our relationships.

What’s next for you?

In 2011, I plan to finish some things that I started. I have several story ideas that haven’t been completely fleshed out so I’ll look back at those. But mainly, I continue to get emails from readers who want to see more from Anisha and Tyson who were in my first book, A Heart of Devotion. By now, they’ve been married about five years and have a son. I think it’s time for us to see what’s going on with them….I THINK!

I’m Patti Lacy, a Southerner who somehow ended up in Normal, Illinois, a strange place for a woman born in the car. After graduating from Baylor University, I taught school and worked as a court reporter until God called me to span seas and secrets through novel-writing.

Shelia Goss is from Louisiana – home of good food and good people (smile). She’s also an alumni of Southern University. She’s been writing since she was nine years-old. When she was in elementary school, her teachers submitted her poems to Seedlings. In school, she was on the yearbook staff, newspaper, etc. She decided to pursue writing as a career back in 1997.

A faithful wife for three decades, and stay-at-home mother of four children, Anna endured Edward’s constant absence due to travel for his international real estate firm and numerous extra-marital affairs. With their children now adults, Edward has less than six months, possibly three, to live.

What advice can you give to writers who are looking to be published authors (one day)?

A writer writes. Study and master your craft and this business called publishing. Also, it all comes down to editing, revising, rewriting. Every writer knows that it is an unending process. Every time you read over your work you find areas that you can improve. A writer must know when to stop. Also, stick to it. A quitter never wins and a winner never quits.
