In Champagne & Butterflies by SJ Foster, sisters, Kyla and Kimari Fontaine, are living it up in college at Penn State. These sisters could not be any more different than night and day. Kyla is the more laid back and focused on her studies. Kimari is all about being in the spotlight and soaking up the attention given to her as a Fontaine sister.

Kyla is surprised by the sudden arrival of Troy, a former classmate. She never thought she would fall for him but after their night of great passion she has done just that. With his promise to be with her long term, Kyla lets her guard down and decides to pursue a relationship. It is over sooner than it began. Left broken hearted she turns to a current classmate, Vince, for companionship. He treats her with nothing but respect, but he does not light the fire inside her like Troy did. For some reason, she cannot seem to get over Troy. Will she destroy what she has with Vince for the passion she had with Troy?

Kimari is the feisty “living my life like it’s golden” sister. She has no use for men. She wants to just do her time in school and get out into the real world and be FAMOUS. That was the plan until she met, Sean, a transferring football player with first-round draft pick promise. Could this be her way into the scene?

Foster brings an amusing story. The sisters have had a wonderful and privileged life. But love does not care how much money you have. They still have to go through the hard times. I enjoyed reading the book and had fun going through the dealings with the Fontaine Sisters. I recommend this for a quick and entertaining read.
