  1. One of my all time favorite chick lit books is “Changing Faces” by Kimberla Lawson Roby.

  2. Hmmm I yet Changing Faces but I don’t recall it being chick-lit…can you share some of the details with me please. Thanks much!

  3. I guess it’s what I call a “sista girl” book lol. The main characters are friends and they’re all struggling with something whether it be weight, family, man problems, etc…In the end they all needed each other to pull through. Maybe if there was a category called sista girl it would fit right in. Perhaps the girlfriends section instead would be better.

  4. Hey Keyona yep there are sista girl books and I believe that Changing Faces falls in that category. Chick Lit books tend to revolve around single women, twenty-something, who love shoes (LOL) and living on the edge…the main character tends to be a little less traditional than most…and even when they’re whining they’re more hilarious/funny than bitter.

  5. The Perfect Shoe
    Both books by Sa\n Culberson

I will look at more titles later

  6. Thanks Jnette and those are two great selections.
