APOOO salutes Club Mimosa Book Club–Located in Harrisburg, PA, this book club was founded by Dawn Reeves in December, 2000. Club Mimosa is a book club of friends who enjoy reading and discussing books by and about African-Americans. They meet every six weeks to bond, fellowship and discuss the stories read and communicate the issues in ways that may help, encourage and strenghten each other.
