March 22, 2010 SEASON PREMIERE of Dancing With the Stars (DWTS)
This evening we will watch this Season’s Celebrities perform for the first time. Their dance of choice will be the Cha Cha or Viennese Waltz. We will be graced (maybe not) with performances by:
Buzz Aldrin (Former Astronaut–he’s dancing with Ashly Costa–is she new?)
Pamela Anderson (Baywatch Babe…hmm she exudes sex appeal but can she dance?)
Erin Andrews(ESPN Host)
Shannen Doherty (Former Actress of Beverly Hills 90210, Charm and a host of other stuff. I wonder if she will last longer than her ex/Anthony Hamilton…well that shouldn’t be too hard to do since he was the first one booted.)
Kate Gosselin (What no Jon)
Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson (I can’t believe he changed his name to OchoCinco…NFL Star; dancing with Cheryl Former Two Star DWTS Champ)
Evan Lysacek (Figure Skating Champion–he should go far)
Niecy Nash
Jake Pavelka (really…the Bachelor)
Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Doll and she’s paired with Derek sounds like it’s going to be another HOT romance for him…lol)
Aiden Turner (Soap Star…I think he was on AMC)
And we have a new co-host this year–Brooke Burke winner of Season Seven.

Chad was decent…lots of heat generated between him and Cheryl. Their score was 18/30.
I thought that he did pretty well for his first time out. These judges are mean. lol

Watching them at the beginning is always interesting because you really see how much they have to overcome in order to make it to the finals; but most do improve along the way.
Hey Diva D…yeah they are mean but they want to give them something to shoot for now if they rate Shannon significantly higher then you know I’m going to be WTF…lol.
Bruno is going off about/on Shannon…oh she’s trying to get the sympathy votes…sigh…Carrie Ann is impressed…oh and did I mention that Shannon breaks out in hives…okay and Len said she portrayed ease and elegance with the Viennese Waltz…but she needs to left her diaphragm and stretch out…what will her score be…him sounded like a bunch of fives to me…but they’re probably have empathy for her…okay I’m sorry but it’s hard for me to feel sympathy for Shannen.
Erin and Max…lol Erin told him she asked for Tony…but I’m hoping they’re good together.
Okay, Shannon upset me what was the crying all about?
@ D’Juna see that’s what I’m talking about…she’s already trying to get the sympathy votes…that mean girl image of her is still deeping ingrained with me…lol.
Erin her feedback has been positive…she’ll probably have scores of 6…lol.
There is no room for crying on the dance floor. Shannon needs to stop smiling (her teeth or scary looking) and stop the daggone crying. Toughen up!
Erin lost rhythm too much for me. I was confused at times because of her lack of rhythm.
So far, OchoCinco did the best.

I so love this song.
I don’t dislike him. I’m tired of seeing him. I saw him on the Bachelorette and then the Bachelor after he was sent home by Jillian. Now here he is again.
He did good.
and yes you told me about Erin.
I thought Jake and Chelsea did a pretty good job.
Jake and Chelsie the ending was really awkward. Len thought his footwork was good and good job. Bruno thought he led…but he needs to calm down…seriously it is the Waltz…and besides when you get to the Rumba what are you going to do BEAT HER…lol. CarrieAnne said she was really impressed. Their scores…all seven for a total of 21 out of 30…lol.
@ D’Juna they weren’t bad but Bruno cracked me up with his comments.
Overexposed to the hilt. And let’s not talk about that skank he picked. Lawd help him because she just as fake as can be. Her hair color, the added extensions, and the boobs- over kill of fakeness.
@ Jennifer folks are already predicting that Jake’s marriage won’t last beyond this season’s DWTS.
Go head on Niecy and Louie…ya’ll look like ya’ll were having fun. Oh why is Niecy crying…okay thos were happy tears.
Neicy Nash if she cries I’m going to scream. She did good.
Bruno said Niecy has to focus her performance…she was a madam and then she was a virgin. CarrieAnn said she was sassy and her energy was fantastic…she loved it. Len thought it was clean, precise but un eventful…WTF…what was Len watching. Okay why is girlfriend talking about food…lol. Score 18…thank God for CarrieAnn and Len what’s up with him…he doesn’t like big BLACK WOMEN…go Niecy represent the big girls EVERYWHERE.
I loved Niecy Nash, she was great!
Why did I know they were going to score Nash like that. Sidenote, I need to get off the blackberry and over to the computer.

Yas, I was thinking the same thing when he (Len) was making his comments. I just wish Bruno would slow down…he makes me dizzy he talks so fast…lol Girlfriend needed a hamburger I ain’t mad at her!

Evan and Anna dancing to another song that I like. Ok they did good, but I did not like that ending.
Is he the soap guy? I have to admit I don’t know all of these people.
Evan and Anna I think they’re going to be the judges favorites thus far. CarrieAnne says he needs to watch his toes and make a connection with us. Len said he has great artistry…but clumsy feet and he needs to find chemistry between the two of them. Bruno said he has the windspan of a 747 and he’s moving with the grace of a swan.

Carrie Ann loved him, but told him he needs to point his toes.

Bruno said he used the space beautifully because of his ice skating.

Lashonda, Aiden is the soap star from All My Children. He played Aidan Devain. He’s no longer on the show.

I am hoping Buzz is not another Cloris. I want to see some real dancing. He is not topping 5′s fro the looks of things.
Buzz and Ashly doing the cha-cha cha. Ok seriously, why do they keep bringing the senior citizens to the dance floor. This poor man was stiff as I don’t know what. He did look like he was having fun.
Len- amazed at him walking on the moon years ago. He can’t give marks of bravery it wasn’t very good.
CarrieAnn- That he’s a cute little moon walker and saw him do a little moon walk.
Bruno- How can he criticize a hero and a legend. He looks like he still had on his moon boot.

@ Jennifer I agree what’s up with the senior citizen dancers…I know they want to honor them but it’s so painful to watch them. I agree with all your comments and was surprised that Len gave him a 4.
Okay ya’ll know they have high hopes for Nicole and Derek…
Nicole was EXCELLENT!
Nicole was great, but I am not surprised. Len is a sour puss. with the exception of him I think she will get 8′s.
Nicole was excellent. I think she will be the front runner of the season. Len is a hater, but truthfully I think he doesn’t like Derek. Bruno is a fool he needs to stop rambling about nothing.
Nicole and Derek- he always gets the sexy women. The Viennese Waltz

Len said it’s very appealing, but saw all sorts of errors and lacked musicality. He was like look beyond the appeal. Damn he ripped them a part.
Derk and Nicole 25/30 see here he goes again this season. Knocking down the barrier.

Aiden and Edyta he’s and his accent is sexy but he has no rhythm. He is not hungry like the wolf on the dance floor. He’s more like a tabby cat on the prowl. LOL!

Len said the routine said he was standing there shaking his wobbly bit while Edyta danced.
Bruno spoke too fast for me to understand him. Whatever he said meant Aiden sucked. And I agree.

Aiden and Edyta- judges scores 15/30. Even Buzz got higher than he did. What the hell!! Icy Hot and Ben-gay was better than sex appeal. LOL
All that Aiden sexiness is just going down the drain. He might be going home right after Buzz. I wish they would stop putting the seniors on this show. Only senior that might be good on this show is Jack LaLane. LOL!
Kate and Tony- seriously this woman better be great. All those kids, she’s always dancing around a toy to avoid stubbing her toe.
Okay ya’ll no I’m DEFINITELY not feeling Kate…and of course she appears to already be bringing the drama…I don’t want to hear about her insecurities…why is she here if she has all this baggage. Oh it might be a set up…she might actually be good…we shall see.
I don’t like Kate or that horrible hair. Let’s see how she dances.

Ok back to the dancing, she’s doing ok. That dance lacked footwork. It was boring and too cutesy.
Len- said she looked nervous so she didn’t have fluidity.
Bruno said the technique was terrible. Looked like Tony was pushing a shopping cart around.
CarrieAnn said she’s very different because she is not a performer or athlete so this is all new to her. So she is impressed. But I wasn’t.
Her movements are not fluid. She looks like she is thinking about very step she takes.
Len is being so much nicer to her than he was to Nicey…
Bruno is being nicer to her than to Nicey….
Carrie Ann is pretty much encouraging to everyone….
Bottom line I did not like that at all. and if Len scores her better than Nicey I am going to KNOW…and that’s all I have to say about that.
You can tell the judges didn’t want to hurt her feelings. But they didn’t care if the hurt Buzz’s feelings with their comments. SMH! Sympathy vote. She ain’t the first person to get a divorce and left with a whole bunch of kids and she won’t be the last.
Off topic… did you commercial include the preview for Greys…..it looks promising.
@ Lashonda I agree she’s thinking about her next steps and praying she doesn’t forget the next step and yes Len was downright mean to Nicey and Lashonda I hear you and agree…and I’m remembering that Len also ragged on Mya last year.
No commercial preview for Greys…ours was for Castle…hmmm I think I missed Greys.
Kate and Tony: Judges scores: 16
Seriously, I have my own insecurities but no one knows about them. She could keep that for her show that she gave up because her ex wasn’t having it.
Thank God their score was only 16 but was it better than Niecy’s…I hope not.
