SHOWTIME! It’s Dancing with the Stars. We’re getting down to the wire…only five dancers left! This week they have to do two solo routines…plus the group dance. So…who’s going home this week? Wanna take any guesses…hmmm…I can’t even call anymore…at least not before I see their dances…although Cody and Lance might be considered the weakest links.
Ooo…ooo they have to do a solo for 15 seconds in the Latin dance…sounds like it’s going to exciting!
Cody and E were up first…Cody actually looked good! He was smooth…elegant…and looked grown up. CarrieAnne said that E lifted her foot off the ground? First dance was a score of 24.
Brooke and Derek are up next. Okay I didn’t realize that a female has never won Dancing with the Stars! Okay I’m cheering for Brooke Burke from here on out…I hope she continues to perform and wow the Judges. Started out well with the judges but then Lyn slammed her! Score: 28
Maurice and Cheryl…okay so last week was possibly his best week…will he come better this week. Maurice is a stiff dancer…tho’. So can he prove to us that he can do ballroom and Latin? Maurice looks like he’s holding his breath sometimes…and that cartwheel…NOT…Cheryl you should have kept that for home…lol. Score: 24.
Lance and Lacey…they’re doing the Samba and the FoxTrot. Will they pull it off? Will they standout? Will they be more traditional…oh way they’re doing it by the books this week…let’s see what happens. They got 3 for 3…all the judges complimented them. They worked on technique this week…stayed with traditional dances and touches…they looked good. Score: 26
Warren and Kym…glad he got bigger shoes for this week…lol. He’s doing the Tango and the Jive this week…wow Warren doing the jive?!?! Warren did look smoother this week! Wow they got a score of 28…
First round…Brooke and Warren are tied for first…
Maurice and Cody are tied for last…
SECOND ROUND
Cody and E are up…dancing the Mambo…oh no Cody…no you didn’t! LOL. Score: 24 PS Julianne is back next week…assuming Cody makes it through this week.
Derek and Brooke…dancing the Mamba…I liked their beginning.
Maurice and Cheryl doing the P.D. I liked their music…added energy! LOL…Bruno is funny. CarrieAnne loved the intensity…but he needs grace and elegance of the upper torso. Lyn even liked them. I think they’re getting a 24. LOL.
Lance and Lacey…dancing to AnneMarie…did Lance do a solo…Wow CarrieAnne ripped him a new one…hmmm the judges don’t seem to be feeling Lance…Lyn told him he had pigeon-toes. Projected Score…I think they’re going to get a 21or 23. Oh wow they got a 24…Bruno brought them through.
Kym and Warren…Latin Round…dancing the Jive…oh my gosh did ya’ll see Warren…lol. His Jive sure looked a lot better than when Cloris did it…hehe. Score: 26 Wow two 9s!
In the bottom: Maurice and Cheryl and Cody and E…hmm will either of them be going home or will it be Lance?
There you have it…another night of Dancing with the Stars! Good night everyone…see you again next week…same time same place.

Cody did well…I haven’t watched in a few weeks. He shouldn’t be penalized for E lifting her foot!!!
I like E’s dress…she’s wearing it well and his outfit complements it nicely!

Yep the friends were corny…but they reminded me that Cody is just a kid…not much older than my son…lol.
Edytha and Cody did good. Unfortunately, based on votes he will be the one signing off this week and I think he’s grown. Now Lacey and Lance are on the line as well, but I think Lance has more fans.

Jennifer, I thought Cody had all the HS musical fans…and doesn’t E have a following…wait let me go and get Jeanette…she has the back story…lol.
Brooke seems like a natural for this competition; but it looks like she’s trying too hard on this dance/performance.
PS…I include updates in the blog posting (look up above)…so that it doesn’t seem like I’m the only one hooking the comment space…lol.
I thought the same thing Phyllis…she was trying too hard…too theatrical…but it sounds like the judges love her…hmmm wait …Lyn is on the war path…WOW.

Lyn gave Brooke a 8…but CarrieAnn and Bruno gave her a 10…I ain’t mat at Lyn because he’s keeping it real!

I just realized that all the women has gone home but Brooke.
They did a tango was fine for me. Lyn is hard.

They can txt and vote via the web. The web is free the txt is standard pricing.
As for the comments on Cheryl and Maurice they said he did and you can tell what he does for a living.

Okay, I watched the first half. I think the judges scored Maurice low considering the compliments that gave him. He and Cody got the same score and I think he was better.
Derrick is an excellent choregrapher so his partner does very well, and she is a good dancer.
Still not giving props to Warren. I hope he gets voted off soon. : )
Yea, I’m convinced Latin is Maurice’s strong suit.

Lance looked very feminine just now and Lacey’s outfit makes her look like an Ostrich. His solo sucked major rocks.

Kristy Yamaguchi won with Mark Ballas last season, but it is too bad that Brooke is the only woman left. Poor Cody! It seems like he’s being punished for switching partners, even though E is wonderful. Did you see her and Alec smoke up the screen last week in the results show?

Proud of Maurice tonight. He’s come a long way. My boy Warren came through. Love his energy and detemination. I think overall everyone did well this evening, but my favs are Maurice, Warren and Lance. Wouldn’t mind seeing Cody go tomorrow.

Y’all are a trip! I’m catching up on blogs from last Friday forward and I get over to APOOO only to see that I missed the whole DWTS running commentary.
Had I known, I would have kicked my oldest off the laptop earlier!
I liked Brooke. I’m with her as the only woman left, especially since gals don’t seem to win on this show. Maurice is too stiff and Warren is too bulky. I get why they don’t like Lance. He’s goofy and pigeon-toed, which he’s not correcting for. Cody tries hard. Who else does that leave?
