Dancing With the Stars, Week 10

Come join us this evening at 8PM EST as we countdown to the final weeks of Dancing With the Stars. We’re coming down to the wires now as we experience this weeks semi-finalists. Okay so WTF happened last week? Can someone tell me why Ty is still there? Yes the dudes likeable…hell I even like him. But can he dance…HAIL TO THE NO! There is no way Lil’ Kim should have gone home last week…albeit I didn’t think she would win…but I thought she was a hell of a lot better than Ty. Hmm…either Ty has a lot of folks voting ( hmmm his wife is Jewel so maybe he’s getting some of her fans) or folks just assume that their favorites will be around for a while so they’re not voting.
At any rate…if Shawn isn’t careful she’ll be going home this week…and Ty will still be there next week with his robotic, non-dancing, lacking rhythm moves. I think I might vote for Shawn tonight just to keep her around and to help send Ty hom.
Not much happening yet…they’re just doing recaps from prior shows.
Melissa and Tony: Doing the Quick Step tonight. Len said Melissa’s feet was much improved; it was just gorgeous. Bruno said it was very, very good but it wasn’t as exhilirating, crispy as it good have men. CarrieAnne agreed with Bruno…it was very nice, very pretty but it wasn’t connected to her soul. Just pretty…and a little bit of space and holes. Predicted Score: 28 Actual Score:
Jilles and Cheryl: Dancing the Waltz. Very pretty…but where’s the passion, energy and the fire? Bruno…said that’s how you start the race for the fire…he’s standing it’s a 10! CarrieAnn said it was breathtaking, gorgeous, fantasy, subtle, sweet professional. Len gave them a sitting down standing ovation. Predicted Score: 30 Actual Score: Perfect 30. Wasn’t hard to call based on the judge’s scores!
Shawn and Mark: the Argentine Tango; the beginning was very theatrical. I liked their lifts. Carrie Ann said she delivered the emotional content…precision, lifts, passion all there. Len said it had maturity and intensity…it was honestly without doubt her best performance. Bruno said it was Catherine Zeta Shawn! She has it coming bit time because that was good. Predicted Score: 30 Actual Score: 30 (first perfect score all season long for her).
Ty and Chelsie: Viennese Waltz Len said that overall he thought it was fabulous; well done. Bruno understands why America loves him…but the dance was like chasing flies. Carrie Ann said it wasn’t his best dance…he wobbled on his turns…Len is in a class by himself. Predicted Score…honestly I don’t think he should score higher than a 24…but he’ll probably get a 28. ACTUAL Score: 25. Hey closer to what I originally predicted. PS I thought Chelsie dress was fugly. 
Melissa and Tony: Bruno said he likes his ChaCha full thrust…but at times she was out of it. Carrie Ann said this dance was more emotional but she has to agree with Bruno. Len said he liked it but not as much as he was hoping to…at places it was a little lackluster. Predicted Score: 27 Actual Score: 27. No surprise there.
Gilles and Cheryl: Anyone need a shower…lol. HOT…they brought it for me. Yes there’s the passion, fire and energy I was looking for! Carrie Aan said that was Gilles at his BEST! Stand ovation. Len said he wish he had an eleven paddle…he was almost speechless. Bruno was so WRONG…he said Lil’ Kim was alive and well and dancing in his pants! Predicted Score: 30 ACTUAL Score: 30…no way it could have been anything else…THESE GUYS BROUGHT IT THIS EVENING. Total Score: 60/60 Tonight! They deserve to be in the Finals!
Shawn and Mark: She thrives for excellence…but can she pull off another 30 this evening? Dancing the Jive…cute ending. It was entertaining…lots of energy. Len said one of the keys to great dancing is great music…he liked the eeling of the dance…but there was too much messing about dancing going on…he wanted more traditional dancing. Bruno said it was a strong performance. Carrie Ann thought she lost a little steam but it was still a wonderful performance. Predicted Score: 27 ACTUAL Score: 26 oops Len gave them an 8!
Ty and Chelsie: Doing the Samba. Bruno said a great great effort. Carrie Ann voted him Most Valuable Player of Season 8. Len said he just doesn’t have it for the Latin Dancer…he said Chelsie has done a fantastic job. Predicted Score: 24. Actual Score: 23. Of course…it’s worse than the prior score. 48/60…PLEASE FOLKS DON’T SAVE THEM ANYMORE…this is a dance show not a personality show!

I don’t vote because a few years back when I voted for Tamyra Gray on American Idol the next day she went home. That was the first and only time I ever voted for anyone. I don’t want the person I want to win to go home, so I don’t vote for them.

I stopped voting on these shows a couple of seasons ago. It became too frustrating. So I know how you feel. The last time I voted in Idol was the year Fantasia won. Last time I voted on DWTS is when Emmit Smith won.
I’m thinking of boycotting the rest of the season. That was so wrong.

LOL @ Jennifer…but it’s true we knew Lil Kim wasn’t gone win…come on some folks still can’t get ova the fact that she was jail bait and they put her on a family show…although I honestly don’t know many kids who watch DWTS.

Shawn and Mark did okay, I just think that is a mature dance and she just looks like a little girl trying to be grown.
Tiffany I’m normally not fond of Shawn but tonight I actually enjoyed watching her.
Ty’s movement is not fluid. It’s tough like jerky. He fumbled several times. I could have missed their performance.

Well Ty did not keep up. He almost dropped Chelsea, Not good.I predict a 25
Ty is just being Ty…he might have improved since the beginning but he still is NOT a dancer.

I didn’t think Melissa’s parents would ever show their faces on tv. I know they wouldn’t meet with the bachelor. Her dancing was ok.

I think the judges are holding a grudge because Lil Kim went home. They are not getting that dose of booty they are used too.

I am like the only person in the world who likes Ty. I just have this soft spot for him. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think that he deserves to be in the finals, but I just love watching he and Chelsie come out and try. I know… I know… he’s stiff, etc. But, he just has such heart!
I think the top 3 couples will be Melissa/Tony, Gilles/Cheryl, and Shawn/Mark.
I can say that I thought Bruno was a total ASS tonight. Telling the audience to shut up. You shut up, Bruno!

Hey Sheri and thanks for stopping by…Ty I like him (I just don’t love him enough to want to see him in the finals…and honestly he should have gone home two weeks ago). Bruno…LOL…for some reason he doesn’t bother me…he is who/what he is…I think I feel the way about Bruno as you feel about Ty.
