Dancing With the Stars, Week 4

Stay tuned and join us in approximately 2 hours (8 PM/EST) as we watch and discuss this week’s segment of Dancing With the Stars.  Wonder who’s going home this week.  What say you?  While I love Steve W…it’s really time for him to go home…it was so hard watching him last week.  And it wasn’t much better watching Steve aka Jackass; with him I was concerned if he was going to injure himself again and he looked as tho’ he lost his courage about halfway through the dance.

As far as who’s staying…or who’s my favorite…so far I don’t have one.  No one is wowing me this season.  What about you?

PS–After 8PM EST…spoilers will be included with this blog.  So, if you’re in a later time zone, you might want to steer clear of this post after 8PM EST, if you don’t want us to tell you what’s going on before the show starts in your area.

I missed David and Kym dooing the Lynndie Hop…how did they do?  ACTUAL SCORE:  22

Lil Kim and Derek will be doing the Argentine Tango this evening.  On the dance floor….couple of nice moves.  Final lift looked a little awkward…but overall I think they did really well.  Bruno called it a terrific tango with forbidden pleasure.  CarrieAnne said Lil Kim is the real deal…said her lines were sensous, beautiful and gorgeous.  Lyn wasn’t as impressed with the sensuality of the dance.  Predicted Score:  25  ACTUAL SCORE:  27 WOW…good for them.  Lil Kim got the FIRST 10 of the season…go head on gurl…she’s definitely shown improvement over the weeks she’s been performing.

Chuck and Julianne–Lyn said it was competent.  Bruno liked the style…but it was a bit loose around the edges.   Predicted Score:  23 ACTUAL SCORE:  22

Lawrence and Edyta–Doing the Argentine Tango.  LOL she said why do you have to look down to learn steps…he said he can’t do B unless he’s comfortable with A.  Will he be able to visualize for the actual performance?  We shall find out.  As he said at some point you’ve got to perform…now it’s time to Tango.  Was that one lift in the middle a little short…Lawrence is very stiff…hmmm I’m not feeling them…Lynn said it was heavy and lacked passion and he looked uncomfortable.  Bruno though he was amazing, intense, displayed danger…and though the performance was good…but …CarrieAnne said he exuded power…but a bit of chemistry was lacking.  I liked Eydta’s costume.  Predicted Score:  21  ACTUAL Score:  19 ouch!

Ty and Chelsie–No falls this week.  They’re doing the Lyndie Hop.  They’re going to get aggressive/physical…and they’re dancing and they taking chances…just hope he doesn’t kill her.  Like their opening.  This seems to be Ty’s dance…I think they’re going to get a high score.  Nice lift at the end.  Bruno said he’s coming along leeps and bounds.  CarrieAnne said that Ty is a dancer; and that Chelsie is a wonderful job.  Lyn said hot dog and down my breeches…said he’s grown beyond his expectation…just a little blunder but overall.  Predicted Score:  24  ACTUAL Score:  25

Steve and Karina–Were very boring to me…I only saw the first 30 seconds…CarrieAnne struggled to find something positive.  Lyn said well done for attempting a proper Tango…he said that he was so terrible last week that anything would be an improvement.  Bruno said that the only thing he really picked up from Argentine was the stench because his Tango stunk.  Dang…Predicted Score:  15  ACTUAL Score 12…dayum they are HORRIBLE.

Melissa and Tony–They’re doing the Lyndie Hop.  In practice, she and Tony seemed to have a really good relationship.  Hmmm I hope the routine is much better than the practice and that they don’t hurt each other because they were wild in practice.  Nice lifts…lots of action…energy…they’re vibrant…Tony is good with the lifts.   Lyn said they have the potential to go all the way…the last lift could have been slicker…but very good.  Bruno said they were bursting with excitement.  Excellent.  CarrieAnne gave them high five…and none she’s impressed.  Said it was the best she’s ever seen from Tony.   PREDICTED SCORE: 27 ACTUAL SCORE: 29 WOW; Double WOW…they got two 10s…huh?

Holly and Dmitry–oh gosh she’s bad enough and now she’s injured.  She almost feel off the chair…she still reminds me of Susan Lucci…STIFF.  Oops look like she forgot her step…okay that jump was nice!  Spicy ending but they didn’t get any applauses.  Bruno…said a bad start that got worst…but Dmitry was doing all the work…he told her their’s a lot of work to be done…and to drop the Barbie and come with the vixen.  CarrieAnne said that she doesn’t feel like she’s building strength.  Len thought the routine was fantastic…but that Holly had a negative attitude…although well done…a good effort.  Predicted Score:  17  ACTUAL SCORE:

Steve-O and Lacey:  Okay…CarrieAnne said oooh Steve…well tonight you got through your routine…but you’re sort of a step behind Lacey…he’s not leading.  Lyn…the good news he got through the routine; but timing is still an issue.  He needs to just try and follow Lacy.  Bruno says he needs to try and listen to the music…because he has a problem with timing.  Predicted Score:  14  ACTUAL Score:  15 he did better than I predicted…hehe.

Gilles and Cheryl…can they do better than last week?  Argentine Tango…dayum he’s sexy!  I could just eat him up…and Cheryl is working it with him…dayum.  I feel their sexuality…and passion.  They worked it.  FIERCE  Lyn loved it…Bruno loved it…CarrieAnne…I think she had an orgasm.  Predicted Score:  29….but can it possibly be a 30?  What say you?  ACTUAL SCORE:  30 YEA…I love them together…they are so good!

Shawn and Mark…okay she says this is her dance…the Lyndie Hop…she came out with a lot of gymnastic moves.   She’;s a little powerhouse…wow…gymastics really helped her…with this dance (or did it?).  Just a couple of rough spots…but they had lots of fun with it.  Bruno said she was a good gymnastic but she needed to do more dancing.  CarrieAnne said she was having a great time…but she was a bit heavy on the footwork…Len said there were too many tricks…I agree with the judges…she relied more on gymnastics than dancing.  Predicted Score:  26 ACTUAL Score:  25…that was a fair score.

    I think they were wise to go to see some live performances of the dance in order for David to get tge gist of the dance. That might be what they need to do for all the difficult dances.

    the Lindy Hop was a difficult dance. Very fast, lots of lifts, energy. I thought they did good. I called their score of 22

    LT & Edytha-Argentine Tango He got it better when Alec came into show him how it needs to be done. For me the beginning of the dance LT needed to do some more work. Edytha did most of it. But at the end he started doing more. I predict 21.

    I believe that the right two people went home and now the real dancing can begin. My favorite 3 couples are Cheryl/Gilles — Derrick/Lil Kim — Tony/Melissa. First I really like Cheryl and always have. Second she and her partner have great chemistry! I would love to see a SISTER win it and I think Lil Kim has the will. She and Derrick also work well together. Tony and Melissa are also a good team.
