Dancing With the Stars, Week 6

Hey, hey, hey…time for another week of Dancing With the Stars?  Who will you be cheering for this week?  Who are you looking forward to going home?  Stop by at 8PM EST this evening as we discuss another week of Dancing With the Stars.  I’m definitely looking forward to what Gilles is going to bring this week!  I don’t care who goes home as long as its not him; actually I want him to take it all this season. ;)

SHOWTIME….

Ty and Chelsie…first up…dancing the Jive…he trys hard…but he’s just stiff…sigh.  Chelsie did all the work.  Len said he’s charming…but bewildered.  Gives his all…unfortunately it took a long while for him to get started and once he did it wasn’t that good.  Bruno said he did 20K kicks and flicks and none of them were right…timing was rough…but he’s a gentlemen.  CarrieAnn…said it was an exciting Jive…unfortunately he’s more suited to some other dances…but he’s still so cute.  Hmmm folks this ain’t about him being a gentlemen or cute it’s about can he dance…lol.  Predicted Score:  16  ACTUAL SCORE:  Just an 18…they were more generous than me.  LOL.

Shawn and Mark–Okay I’m tired of hearing her say she’s only 17…duh.  Mark is very patient and supportive of her…the prom background was a great idea.  She looks good this evening.  They did the Ruma…Bruno said it was innocent…but she needs more hip action.  Carrie Anne said she could see the discomfort in her eyes in the beginning; the second half came alive.  Len said that their Rumba was just right…just too hot and it didn’t burn.  Predicted Score:  28  ACTUAL Score:  26  okay they didn’t think she was as hot as I thought they would think she was…lol.  I like their score better. ;)

Lawrence and Edtya–I missed them…they did the Jive but CarrieAnne said he brought his groove back.  Len said he brought his personality and did a good job although he needed to be a little lighter in his feed.  Bruno said he was having a good time…timing was good…best performance to date…said they needed to bring Warren back every week.  Predicted Score:  22/23  ACTUAL SCORE: 22 Wow that’s their best score yet…I didn’t realize that…

Melissa and Tony this week they’re doing the Rumba.  I hope she brings some fire to it…not too much but just right…she says it’s coming together much easier than the Pasa Doble’ and Tony believes its a great dance for her to make a comeback…he sees the beauty…okay lets see how well she does.  Well I like the song…and they were sexy…but seemed like something was off in spots…can’t put my finger on it.  Len said it was clean and precise…said it need to be more earthy…but great job and she’s a fabulous dancer.  Bruno said she’s voluptous and exotic…he’s all ova the top…but he wants to see Melissa the manical…is that what he said…Carrie Anne liked the emotional quality and the passion…but she wants to work on her Cuban motions…get those hips going…yes…that’s what was missing!  She was a little too suburban/white bread.  Predicted Score:  25  ACTUAL SCORE:  27  Lot better than predicted.

Lil Kim and Derek statrted off with the best Jive I’ve seen this evening.  Queen Latifah in the house!  Bruno said she rocked.  Carrie Anne loved it also!  Said it was amazing!  Brought such pizazz and the chreography was  great.  Len said it lacked a lot of Jive that Derek got to carried away with the song…Jailhouse Rock…said it was a great job on what they did.  Predicted Score:  25/26  ACTUAL Score:  28 AWESOME love that CarrieAnne and Bruno gave them a 10!

Steve-O and Lacey…what da hell do they have on for the Rumba…their costumes are horrible…nothing romantic about them…and as usual Lacey is carrying him.  His Rumba sucked.  Carrie Anne didn’t even know what to say then she came out with there was something oddly mesmerizing…but they still need to work on his grace…long way from last week.  Len said you can’t confuse movement with dancing, no footwork, no hip action, NO GUY.  Bruno said thank God for racy Lacy…said he has the charm of a confused puppy…and people respond to that but the dancing is bad.  Predicted score:  16/17 ACTUAL Score:  16  What Carrie Anne gave that a 7…WTF…lol.

Jilles and Cheryl…Jilles just exudes sexuality!  Len said it was frantic and wild…and he made a mistake right in front of him.  Bruno said he was fast and furious…but he needs to be sharper and cleaner.  Carrie Anne said he needed to watch his hands/arm movement…I don’t  think they will be getting 10s this week…Predicted Score:  26  ACTUAL Score:  26  Exactly what I predicted!

Chuck and Julianne…Chuck is going to attempt the Rumba…I think he should have done the Jive…he’s just not sexy to me…he’s too goofy.  Julianne is good!  Okay he was as sexy and sensual as he could be.  Bruno said he’d like some more of that please…technically his foot place needs to be more precise…but its a step in the right direction.  Carrie Anne said it was the most passionate, sexy number of the night.  Len said parts of that were more suitable for the bedroom than the ballroom…Len said sometimes he looks a bit too mechanical…sometimes he looks too wild…Len thought it was too much…hmmm Len please!  Predicted Score:  23  ACTUAL Score:  23

    I have not been commenting much but I have to agree with ya.. That man is something to see on the dance floor… and I disagree with Lem ( the judge) he looked something good without his shirt on :-)

    I liked Shawn’s dress and I too love that she’s not overly sexual at 17. Makes you believe that not every young girl is trying to be a woman. I liked their dance.

    Yea…I think you need to be at least 18 (would prefer 21) to compete on this show…part of the reason Shawn isn’t a favorite for me is that not ony is she young but she’s very inexperienced and it shows.

    Hey Everyone… Ty is shy and style. I think they will keep him in just for his shyness.

    shawn was ok.. I really like Mark. He is very patient. I did nto think they needed that high of score. it was just OK and you could see how nervous she was throughout the dance

    I do think they were moving too slow. However, it was an improvement from last week. He seemed to be enjoying himself. I predict a 21. The judges gave positive feedback.

    He did look like he was enjoying himself tonight. I liked what Warren said, ‘NFL DIVA.’ You could see he was counting, but agree, I want to see someone work the JIVE fast and full of energy.

    Jennifer- yeah. I’ve come to expect more out of Kim and Derek. They usually come with it. They got a great score, but I think Carrieann and Bruno are biased.
