Dancing With the Stars, Week 8

Another week of Jilles and Cheryl…wonder what they’re going to razzle dazzle us with this week.  Will this be the week that Ty goes home?  Join us at 8PM EST as we discuss another episode of DWTS.

Jilles and Cheryl–doing the lyndi hop.  Hmmm.  Lyn said the French are now good for the lyndi hop.  Bruno said there was a tiny little error but still good.  Carrie Ann said tonight was fantastic…he was great.  Predicted Score:  28  ACTUAL Score:  27 Wow not as good as I thought.

Kim and Derek doing the pasa doubly.  They were INTENSE.  Bruno said the bitch is back and she means busy…classy, classy and well done.  Carrie Ann said that the pasa showed how much Kim had grown…Len said it’s coping with the dances you might not be so good at it…he was expecting something but he got ole’.  Predicted Score:  28  ACTUAL Score: 28

Chuck and Julianne doing the ChaChaCha…Carrie Anne said Chuck is definitely in the game but he needs to watch his chin.  Lyn said its turning into a fantastic competition…he’s getting stronger and stronger but he needs to work on his arms…Bruno said his arms are bit too thrown away and too wooden…but his bun action was great.  Predicted Score:  25  ACTUAL Score:  26

Shawn and Mark will be doing the Simba.  Len said it lacked hip action…the dress was doing most of the work…it was okay but it wasn’t her better job.  Bruno said it was a good Simba.  Carrie Ann said she’s looking for great technique, solid performance and Shawn had it.  Predicted score: 26  ACTUAL Score:  27

Melissa and Tony doing the Jive.  Their vote will be based on the rehearsal performance because Melissa was injured.  It’s not going to be good.  Predicted Score:  24  ACTUAL Score:  21  No sympathy points this week.

Ty and Chelsie dancing the Salsa.  Ty has grown on me…he really tries and he’s a good sport.  Carrie Anne said that was a SALSA.  Len said unless he performs in the group tango it’s time he hits the trail.  Bruno is crazy…lol…said it wasn’t perfect but he enjoyed watching it.  Predicted Score:  23  ACTUAL Score:  24  Go Ty!

    I am working at the bookstore and I brought my mini tv so I would not miss it. I’ll p[op in as much as I can

    Cheryl and Gillis were really good but i have to admit, Lil Kim WAS GOOD!! She was intense and on point…Loved it!!

    Hey Tiffany…I owe you a call I’m on the mend…still in pain thank God for painkillers…lol…yes Kim was great and it’s official I really don’t like Chuck he just looks so goofy to me no matter how hard he tries…granted he has gotten better but I’m still not a fan of his…lol.

    Shawn and Mark were not good. That was the wrong song choice and it was way too slow. She should be going up not down.

    that’s unfortunate for Tony and Melissa. BUt, they will probably get a better score than Ty and Chelsea. He is too stiff for a Salsa.
    I hope people vote for Tony and Melissa because I would like to see them come back too.

    Their dance definitely wasn’t impressive. She looked like she wasn’t even into the dance. She might have been in pain. It doesn’t matter though, she isn’t going to win either.

    Ty is just too stiff. Looking at him dance is comical. The salsa is suppose to be sexy and that wasn’t. Well at least he got through the whole dance. It still wasn’t even mediocre.

    I think the bottom two are going to be Shawn and Ty. I think more people are going to vote for Melissa b/c she is hurt. Shawn seems to be tired to me. She didn’t seem to be emotionally attached to her dancing tonight.

    You guys have some great points! I liked tonight’s show. I am a Melissa fan and am totally bummed out about it. You’ve got to give it up for Ty’s guns, tho! Come on! And, his spray tan video was hillarious! Ty and Chelsie’s routine was my favorite couple routine of the night (even if he is a stiff white boy). I didn’t think they were the best, I just liked the routine and the music. I think Kim and Derek’s couple routine was probably performed the best. But, we’ll never know because MELISSA wasn’t there. I’m bummed.

    I loved that comment above that every time Shawn’s arm goes up you think she’s going to do a flip! Hee Hee.
