Just turned on Dancing With the Stars–saw the tale end of Shannon Doughtery’s routine. Was she the first? How did she do?

Aiden and Edyta up and dancing the Fox Trot. Bruno thinks Aiden has improved…KEEP HOPE ALIVE. CarrieAnne said nice job…and that this week he let the dance flow through him. Lynn it was a little economic in the movement but his footwork was very good–WELL DONE. Predicted Score: 21/Actual Score: 19
Yes, Shannon was first. And she sucked. The judges gave them a 20; two points higher than last week.
Aiden did way better this week than last. There is hope for him after all. But showing us the behind the scenes when he and Edyta was not jiving it made for some eye raising.
@ Jennifer hello and thanks for the update…so what dance did Shannon perform?
@ Jennifer agree about Aiden…he improved overnight! And that behind the scene drama I could have done without…but then again they like playing up that type of stuff with the audience.

Shannon was attempting the jive. She failed miserably. There was no fun in her dance.
Evan and Anna are up and doing the Jive…they look like they’re having fun with it. CarrieAnne thought he incorporated direction from last week. Lyn had positive feedback. Bruno said he needed to point the feet, point the feet…but overall good performance. Predicted Score: 22 Actual Score: 24
Wow they were that good? And yes Evan does look orange…oh yeah and he was better than I thought he was.
@ Jennifer…that’s what Shannon was doing…the Jive?!?! LOL.
Now that was a jive. Go Evan and Anna! I enjoyed it. They had fun doing it.
I think that Shannon was concentrating too much on the routine, she was almost counting it out. Aiden was way better this week. Evan still looks orange, lol.
@ Tiffany hey sis whassup? And Shannon does appear to be counting in her head…
Niecy Nash and Louie are up and doing the Fox Trot. LOL love Niecy wise cracks…but smooth as butter we get…ooh ooh Louie’s trying to put her into a box…tell him Niecy.
Neicy did good. Shoot it looks like everybody went through some rigorous training to be doing so good. With the exception of Shannon who said she was doing it. Hell it showed, she ain’t do nil.
Neicy was good. I enjoyed watching her.
I like the song they’re dancing to and Niecy has lots of personality so whatever she might lack in grace she more than makes up for with being NIECY NASH. Len said that compared with last week she was a revelation…Bruno said nicely done she was like a strawberry milkshake…CarrieAnne said ‘did I see lift’…she didn’t…but she needs to do a little bit bigger…but overall positive feedback. Predicted Score: 22/Actual Score: 21. Hmmm they didn’t think she was as good as I thought.
@ Jennifer I agree everyone that I’ve seen thus far this evening have been really good…lots of improvement…glad I didn’t see Shannon tho’ she sounds like a hot mess.
Up next Jake and Chelsie doing the Jive. Bruno said he has energy and determination but he needs to work on precision. CarrieAnne said it looked like he had a lift…but great start, she loved the energy and the routine. Len said it was little heavy sometimes but overall he was light on his feet and some one is going to go tomorrow but he truly hopes it’s not Jake. Predicted Score: 21…hmmm I hope it’s not higher than Niecy’s. Actual Score: 20
Jake was not good to watch. He was painfully without rhythm.
@ Jennifer I don’t like Jake either.
I don’t like him and I don’t consider him a celebrity! SMH, he was not good at all.
He and Shannon is in the same none dancing boat.
@ Tiff and Jennifer I’m not feeling Jake either but I didn’t watch the Bachelor either so I really don’t know him.
Oh gosh Buzz is back…heaven help us all! He’s going to do the Fox Trot.
Poor Ashley…she’s going home soon cause Buzz just isn’t good…and what’s up with Buzz’s wife…how much work has that woman had done?!?!?
Oh gosh…it’s so painful watching this…I’m afraid Buzz is going to hurt himself and everything is so S-L-O-W.
Why are they torturing that old man.
CarrieAnne said very tender very charming FoxTrot; BUT the dancing spot was just a little trepidation…he looked like he was afraid of stepping on Ashly’s toes. Len said he won’t criticize a legend…he thinks he inspires folks whatever their age. Bruno said the man on the moon got stuck on the FoxTrot…but great to have him. Predicted Score: 15 Actual Score: 12
Good they’re trying to send Buzz home as FAST as I wish he would go!
Buzz sucked. What in the world? Or moon? He needed more Geritol to enhance his dancing.
@ Jennifer I know…I’m sorry but I’m not sure this is the show for senior citizens…they’re NEVER going to win…I mean how many seasons are we talking about now and not one senior has even been close.
Nicole and Derek set the bar last week and this week they’re coming back but with the Jive.
So Far I like Nicole and Derek’s Jive.
So can I say Nicole and Derek are the ones to beat. They will win this season.
Len was ambivalent and said that the first 12 parts weren’t his cup of tea; the traditional part was very good. Bruno said it was phenomenal…a Jive that good for week 2…was exceptionally. CarrieAnne said it was all perfectional and she loved it. Predicted Score: 28/Actual Score: 28
Nicole already got the first 10 of the season!

Nicole was excellent. Len is a hater as usual, but really like I said last week, I think he doesn’t like Derek.

Max and Erin was good. She did an awesome beginning.
Bruno said she’s a natural…natural elegance, ease of movement…but make sure you finish all the moment. CarrieAnne said great use of flexibility but she’s got to watch the death grip. Len said the movement was fluid…but her footwork wasn’t just too good. Predicted Score: 23
They were good, but Nicole and Derek are the ones ahead at this point.
Len likes people, but I think he forgets that these people are new to ballroom dancing. He expects perfection from the beginning.
This guy is gonna use Pamela’s sex appeal for the entire season. All the men are voting to see her shake her boobs and flat behind. LOL! She was ok.
Missed Pam’s performance…Jennifer how did she do?
@ Jennifer I agree regarding Pam…her sex appeal is going to take her far.

Ladies…I am missing it all. I had to come home and clean a big mess. I guess I will read your recaps when I settle.
Chad looked stiff and like he wasn’t sure of himself to me…he didn’t look at ease.

OchoCinco did not deserve Len’s nasty comment. They are so wrong. He did ok.
Dang Len…had nothing good to say. Bruno said he looked uncomfortable. CarrieAnne said he has great potential but he’s got to start understanding his moment and letting it go. I agree with them. Predicted Score: 17/ Actual Score: 16.
You are absolutely right, Pam sex appeal is going to take her far. And yes, she has the flattest butt ever.

Kate and Tony will be doing the Jive this week…oh gosh in practice she looks horrible…and unteachable. I agree with Tony nothing in dancing is natural to her. She’s SO drama-ful so I’m ready for her to go home.

Seriously, I can see why Kate and Jon didn’t make it. She doesn’t even listen at all. She wants to lead in everything. Pour Tony.
@ Jennifer I agree and OMG watching her is so HORRIBLE…she is so not graceful and she’s not keeping up…did she miss a couple of steps…she looks scared to death…
The foot work is terrible. See she needed to listen to Tony. She is terrible all around. What the heck is the crowd cheering for? That dance lacked so much.
Bruno said and now you turned it into a nightmare…you need to get acting lessons to try and portray a character…she needs to perfrom and sell. CarrieAnne said the positive thing is that she made it through the whole routine and her feet came off the floor…Len said nerves can make or break you and right now her’s are heading the floor hard. I love Tony and I feel sorry for him, but I actually want to see Kate gone before Buzz. She makes my skin crawl. I watched Jon and Kate plus 8 and she treated him like he was one of the kids. I don’t know how he stayed for as long as he did. She had no respect for him whatsoever. SMH!
@ Tiffany I hear you about Kate she just doesn’t seem like a very nice person and she’s very controlling.
