DAUGHTER OF THE GAME by Isis

Amazon Rating: 5 stars
APOOO Rating: 4.5 stars

TW2…

New author, Isis, makes her stunning debut in her novel, DAUGHTER OF THE GAME. The title alone speaks for itself. Monique Waters is the type of female that any man would be proud to have on his arm. She is not only beautiful but she graduated from high school with honors. Monique seems to have a good head on her shoulders and is starting her freshman year in college and living in a dorm. She seems to come from a decent background; a single mother, struggling on a school teacher’s salary but who manages to make sure Monique has anything to her hearts content.

Well…that is what her boyfriend, Armand, thinks. Little does Armand realize he does not know as much as he thought he did about his woman. When he met Monique, her innocence and her determination to be a “square” was one of the things that he loved. He felt like she was unlike any girl he had ever been with. Although, Armand never kept it a secret that he was a drug dealer from around the way, Monique does not know how respected, nor notorious and deadly Armand is. He is not to be crossed.

DAUGHTER OF THE GAME by Isis is the upcoming novel to be released under Life Changing Books, in early 2010. This may sound like your typical street-lit novel but it is anything but…this is one of those books that will have you on the edge of your seat, trying to figure out where the story is going. DAUGHTER OF THE GAME is chock full of lies, deceit, betrayal and murder. I was hard pressed to put this novel down…that is just how good this book is. I was drawn to the story and the characters right from the start. I absolutely loved this book and eagerly anticipate the sequel!
