In a day that we have been admonished to think like a man, but act like a woman, Author Dianna Bethany asks in her book, “Did You Know He Doesn’t Think Like You?”

In this 33-page treatise, Author Bethany begins by sharing the divorce rate by age, gender and denomination, stating that no matter how it is broken down, if we honor our marriages according to the will of God, we would not see as many divorces as we see today. It is a covenant, an agreement between man and wife in the presence of God that should not be broken.

As the document goes on, there is information on what God says about marriage, independency versus individuality, understanding that he (the husband) is always the head, knowing when two becomes one and where a married couple should go from there.

I enjoyed reading Did You Know He Doesn’t Think Like You because this short book is a concise overview of what God says concerning marriage, outlining our responsibilities and leaving it open to couples to determine where there relationship will go once they have become one. There is a section at the end of the book to record couples’ journey in marriage. I recommend this book to couples planning to marry and to married couples.
