APOOO WELCOMES THE DISTINCT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN BOOK CLUB

The Distinct Ladies and Gentlemen Book Club was established in October 2006 by members Tiffany, Andrea, Patrice and Melody in an effort to celebrate sisterhood/brotherhood and African American literature. As of today, there are 15 active members, and Tiffany Rainey is the president. We want to bring together a group of African-Americans from diverse backgrounds that enjoy reading literature by other African-Americans. Our goal is to discuss the stories and communicate the issues in ways that may help, encourage, and strengthen one another. We are bonded together through our Faith, Strength, and Confidence.
We have had the pleasure of having literary events with authors such as: Alisha Yvonne, Keith Lee Johnson, Jihad, and many more. With motivation and support from one another our book club is celebrating our 1st year together. The DLG Book Club membership is currently open for membership. To learn more about Distinct Ladies and Gentlemen Book Club, please contact or visit us at: http://www.myspace.com/distinctladiesandgents. Authors and interested applicants may also email Tiffany Rainey, President at: distinctladiesandgents at yahoo dot com.
