SHHHH!
If You Don’t Tell by D.V. Hent opens with Laela and Quinton who are engaged and planning the wedding of a lifetime, however, Laela wants to have a threesome before she says I do. Quinton loves her and tells her that is fine but it cannot be with a married woman; after all he has morals. Quinton is well known in their town and his leaving behind a multitude of women to commit to just one has his best friend, Dre, baffled. Dre’s philosophy is why have just one when their are so many women to choose from. Insisting on changing his ways Quinton tries to remain focused until a party thrown by his friend includes a lot of blasts from the past, awakening steamy memories, situations and scenarios. Can Quinton maintain his composure?
Laela is a nurse and has two close friends, Simone and Teniyah, who she shares mostly everything with. Simone is constantly being badgered about her unfaithful husband, Mike, and Teniyah steps out on her man occasionally. While both women plot for the spot in the threesome they all are undergoing their own mini-dramas at home. Mike is hiding a deadly secret from Simone and would like her to believe that these alleged affairs are all in her mind, that is until the truth comes out and sends everyone running for cover. Teniyah is bi-sexual and pushes for Laela to try it without Quinton first so she will look like she knows what she is doing. Laela is torn and while it was her suggestion for the threesome she does not want to do anything without Quinton. Manipulating Laela into an uncompromising position has given Teniyah the top pick in the threesome.
Quinton is fed up with his job, his living situation and the constant influx of women throwing themselves at him. Can this wedding hurry up before he does something he will regret? Will the wedding continue? Who will be the chosen one for the threesome? Can Simone save herself from her deranged husband and salvage her sanity?
Will Teniyah back off or move full speed ahead with her plans to make Laela her woman?
Stay tuned; this is a hot, steamy read that is full of surprises. I recommend If You Don’t Tell to readers of all genres.
