Old Friend, We Made This for You by Yannick Marshall & Yemi Aganga is a collection of poetry that takes you across the waters to the different islands. The poetry explores the differences in cultures, while showing the familiarity of the struggles in the black community. But along with the struggles the free-spirited fun times with good food , music and like-minded people are possible, alive and happening. These poems are about the African, Caribbean, and African American Disapora.

Jennifer Coissiere is an aspiring author, a mother, and a wife. She has been reading books as far back as her memory will allow her to remember.
