GAME RECOGNIZE GAME by Terry Deron is a story of four individuals that are in the prime of their life. Tracy Spencer is a senior in college where she interns at one of the hottest radio stations in town. Troy Vincent is her sexy boss and is known as a real ladies man around the office. Simone is one of Troy’s “jump offs” that also works at the radio station. Unfortunately, she does not see her role as a “jump off.” When she catches Troy and Tracy in a compromising position at the office, she decides to exact revenge on both of them.
Mark Parvais is a star cornerback and one of the top ten NFL prospects in the country. A secret he is keeping from his best friend and roommate may destroy their friendship and the teams morale. Each of these individuals lives intertwine and no one will be the same when it is all said and done.
GAME RECOGNIZE GAME by Terry Deron shows how “hell hath no fury like that of a woman scorned.” This is a story of sex, lust, lies and betrayal. The story has a nice flow and moves fast, making for a quick read. Unfortunately, I felt there was too much going on within the story that overshadowed the main plot. Also, I did not think it was necessary for the author to repeat what happened in a previous scene with a different character. Although I realize this was to get that character’s point of view on the situation I felt it was totally unnecessary. I think the author did a very good job; the storyline drew me in and I had no editing issues with this book. I look forward to reading the sequel to see exactly how this story is going to play out.
