Author Tracy Moody-Williams penned a self-proclaimed autobiographical account of her life from childhood to adulthood, and all that happened in between as the Lord revealed to her His purpose for her life. She is not the mistake her siblings would say she was while growing up, and certainly not a forgotten soul, but a woman that God had His hands on before the foundation of the world. Nothing, not the lack of love, the drugs, promiscuity or unfortunate sexual violations could keep what God has for her from manifesting in the natural.
The book cover of Ghetto to Godly is very inviting, and I believe this book can be a tremendous source of encouragement and ultimately be used to bring someone to Christ. However, in its current state, there are a few distractions that keep me from favorably rating it. There are no chapters, no paragraphs, no particular timeline to outline this book and lay out the story as it happened. There are beautifully written poems throughout the book, but they are in all capital letters, something that should not be done in a body of written work. I believe that if this book was re-written in a structured manner, it would be an awesome read that can change lives and I would be able to rate it the 4 it deserves
