What an interesting concept...going to a movie I actually want to see.

Why didn't I think of that?

I've been on so many side-splittingy horrible/funny dates which sometimes included movies...I decided that movies were bad.

I have vowed to go to a movie alone. I think I will try that this weekend. I do close my room door and read. Or I will go to Borders, Michaels, Target, Linens and Things or Bed Bath and Beyond and just stroll. My husband never understands this. The other night, my sister called me from the grocery store. She said she ran away from her family to the grocery store and was just walking up and down the each aisles.

Great Post... I am still trying to find me time... it usually comes at 1 -2 am when all is quiet and I can think .. I just want to be able to do that more at normal hours without depriving myself of sleep.

Since my children are now grown, I tend to gift myself a lot...time to read, to be, to nap...I used to feel guilty when I took me time, but as did many things change, once I turned fifty, I knew ME was as important as they....great post...

Blessings

I don't really ever take the time for myself. I usually try to attend a book club discussion where I don't have to hear Mommy or Baby. I am free to be all about self. I am aiming to attend the December meeting; which means I need to get started reading the book so I have a couple of weeks to get through it all with the rest of my every day life happenings.

Earlier this week I took a long hot shower, came out and sat in a soothing hot bath with a book and silence for 15 minutes.
