Title: When Will I Truly Find Love?

Girl…Love Just Ain’t For Me by P. Renee, has very fluid and likeable characters.  Kendal, Jazel and Miracle overcome one obstacle after the other. Trouble trusting and believing in the person you are intimate with can cause a person to not want to ever love anyone.

Kendal may be a smart woman in the business world, but in her personal life, not so much. She keeps picking men with the same messed up trait, multiple women syndrome.  The one man, Bret, she actually feels strong enough emotions to say she may be in love with, has a past with one of her good friends.  Will Kendal ever be able to risk her friendship with Bret and tell him about how she really feels?

Miracle’s life spins out of control the night she hears her husband, James, on the phone making promises to his mistress. James tells Miracle what she wants to hear, but how true is what he is saying to her?  How far will Miracle be pushed before she reaches rock bottom?

Jazel wants a man, David, who is clearly attracted to Kendal.  When she realizes Kendal does not care for him at all, Jazel goes for it.  Will David finally see the beautiful lady in front of him, or will he continue to chase the one who wants nothing to do with him?

Whenever I read a book, I try to connect with the characters.  P. Renee offers strong characters, but due to the abundance of errors, their strength was lost.  For the first hundred or so pages Kendal told the story, and it almost seemed like it was an afterthought to change which character was telling the story, allowing Miracle and Jazel the chance to shine through.  I read a pdf version of Girl…Love Just Ain’t For Me, and the typesetting was all over the place.  I believe if the proper editing was done this book would make for a more enjoyable read.  The way it is right now, I cannot recommend it to anyone.
