Good With His Hands is a collection of short stories that tell of strong men who are not too strong to be tender when it involves the women they love as in the first story written by T.T. Henderson titled Hot Spot. Byggie Quinn attended church so she did not have to hear her sister’s complaining, but she never expected to meet Trey Reed in the sanctuary. Their explosive and misunderstood first meeting turned out to be more than just a chance meeting when Byggie found out that Trey was the inspector for the building her company was purchasing. Will Byggie find out what Trey could do other than use tools or inspect buildings?
In Mr. Telephone Man by Barbara Keaton, Victoria Morrison was in the man-dominated field of construction, but when the wiring for the telephone and wireless systems was not installed in time per the contract with Mays Construction, she was fuming and wanted results immediately. What Victoria did not expect was Lennox Mays and his commitment to meeting the deadline and working with his crews to get it done. Will Victoria get an opportunity to find out how Mr. Lennox Mays is wired?
Jackson Jack loved to build using the best wood, and enjoyed the feel of the wood in his hands. However, in Built to Last, the last thing he expected to do while on a job was encounter his best friend’s sister, having to explain to the police why he was there. Since Mia Walsh’s family had no idea that she was returning home, she was unaware of the work Jackson was doing in their home and came out fighting to protect herself from the hands of what she perceived to be a pervert. Will Mia get the opportunity to enjoy what Jackson can do with his hands?
Taye Davis loved to restore old homes that most people would consider hopeless, but in A Handy Man by J.M. Jeffries, Taye relished the opportunity to restore a beautiful Victorian he called ‘Lady.’ With anticipation, Taye met with the owner, Ms. Erica Walsh, and to his surprise, they began to work on the home together, pulling from the home some of its original beauty and adding ideas of their own. Will Ms. Walsh find Taye Davis to be the handy man the old house needed?
I enjoyed reading Good With His Hands and recommend this book to readers who enjoy romantic short stories.
