Happy New Year 2009–Let’s Curl Up With a Good Book!

apooo-winter-banner1Greetings and welcome to the first Sunday of 2009!  Last year was filled with tragedies and triumphs, ebbs and flows, joy and sadness…and epiphanies.  So…I knew if I was breathing today that I needed to be in somebody’s church praising the Lord…and it felt good!  Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend church next Sunday because I will be in New Jersey (two hours away) for a cheerleading competition with Lauren.  Only four more weeks of cheerleading.  Hallejuah!  LOL.

Anyway before we get too far into the New Year I though it would be a good idea to recap 2008 and talk about our reading  ’goals’ and wishes for 2009.  So, please spend about five minutes with APOOO  by answering the questions posted below.  Please post your answers in the comment section or if you have already answered these questions in a blog, feel free to leave your blog link.

  18. Yas,

Imagine my surprise while I was counting. I did stop reading a few books that I didn’t add in that count, but I doubt if it would make a difference. But in my defense, I was working last year, something I hadn’t done in about five years. So I’m home again! ;-)

    Lashanda,

reading ‘The Bishop’s Daughter’ now and so far it’s GREAT!
