Lutishia Lovely, in Heaven Forbids, picks up the story at Gospel Truth Church. Reverend Doctor Bishop Obadiah Meshach Brook, Jr., at the encouragement of Reverend Stanly Lee, steps out of retirement to bring order back to the church after the fall of its former minister, Pastor Nathaniel Thicke. As his first order of business, Reverend Doctor O issues a new code of ethics to the members of Gospel Truth only to have them turn their backs on him. The Reverend begins to believe that he does not have what it takes to head a ministry, until someone from his past returns with an agenda – to get him back in her bed.

Princess Brook, Rev. Doctor O’s grand-daughter, has decided to write a book about her experiences in college. The only problem is that she has not discussed it with her parents and she still craves the attention of the person that broke her heart. Reverend Stanley Lee and his wife, Carla, are also facing a major problem that needs immediate attention. Carla seeks help from Maxine, Reverend Doctor O’s wife. But Maxine’s advice only leaves Carla desperate.

Lovely answers many questions her readers asked regarding her unforgettable characters, Passion, Carla, Maxine, and many more. As always, this story will make you laugh, cry, and shout as you turn each page. Lovely has a wonderful way of telling the story without it being too preachy and it has enough scandal, sex, and laughter to make you want to read more. If you like church gossip without the preaching, this is the book for you.
