Hit or Miss by Latrice Scott takes us on a wild ride through Miami, Florida as we are introduced to Keyerra. Keyerra is a young girl who requires the best things in life, falling down on her luck she is looking for a sugar daddy or a fast come up. So she decides to hook up with her friend Nay-Nay and find out how she holds it all together and always seem to stay so fly.
Nay-Nay introduces her to “Big Boss,” who in turns briefs Keyerra on her “secret assignment,” Keyerra thinks this is a piece of cake until the tables turn and she is facing the most gorgeous man in her life. Looking at him arouses feelings that have been long buried with her late boyfriend. Can Keyerra keep business and pleasure separate?
This fast-paced drama will have you holding on to your seat as you are put in unpredictable scenarios such as steamy sex scenes, and vivid murders. At the end of the day, Keyerra must ask herself was this all worth it for the love of money?
I was held captive reading this book as I felt I was racing through the streets of Miami with Keyerra, turning corners and holding my breath for the outcome of events. I recommend this to readers who are looking for speed and a good delivery. Great job Ms. Scott!

This review is so true! I enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end. If you live or ever lived in Miami you will feel like you are Keyerra going on this journey in these familiar places. For those people who have never been to Miami, you will feel like you are right in the middle of the city because the author describes the places in such detail. Read this book. You won’t regret it!
