Provided below is a list of urban, street fiction titles that came out or are due out in August. If you are a fan of the genre and have read any books by the authors listed below, please share what books you recommend by them.

  1. I read Black and Ugly. It was really good. I plan to read Black and Ugly as Ever.

    I’m not a big urban or street fiction reader, but I know a good book when I read one, and that book was awesome.

  2. I’m ready to read Black and Ugly as Ever, I read Black and Ugly and it was really good. Also I’m ready to read Shamless Hoodwives because Desperate Hoodwives was so good

  3. I read Shameless Hoodwives and LOVED it! Wow those ladies did their thing writing that book. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for the next installment.

  4. Haven’t read any of them, but plan to read them all! I know for sure Shameless Hoodwives is going to be good. Then there is a 3rd installment coming in January ‘09.
