I love beaches and have my whole life.
A couple of thinks I enjoy is:
- walking (running in my younger years) along the water’s edge – very good workout
- a big hat, a good book, large bottle of water and reading until the sun goes down

I used to could take the beach or leave it. I didn't like all that sand and ashiness. But going to Cuba earlier this year, I fell in love with the beach. I could have stayed out there forever. Beautiful blue ocean in the province of Trinidad was the best. Dera's last blog post..I've Been Tagged

I was born and raised in California and was never so happy as when I moved away from the beach. Sorry, I only go to a beach when it’s unavoidable – i.e. my family wants to go or I rashly promise someone to do something they might want to do and they choose a beach. I’m very happy to live in the desert where it’s hot, dry and very little sand to be found.

How I miss the beach having relocated to the desert from our Eastern shore! This is so funny actually since I had an online friend dream of me and her walking along the beach just yesterday.

To think of it My fam in Boston are at the beach right now!
