When Did You Last Let Your Imagination Run Away With You?

There is a school of thought which says in order for us to achieve, we must first believe we are capable. Studies show our brains don’t know the difference between a memory of an event and a visualization of an event that has not happened. Interesting implications, wouldn’t you say?
As avid readers, I’d say that our imaginations get some pretty good exercise on a regular basis. But, have you used the power of your imagination lately to further your success?
Take some time to dream. Envision your life as you would have it. See yourself having accomplished that goal you set for yourself. How does it feel? Are the images that are coming from your imagination crystal-clear… or fuzzy and out of focus?
“It is usually the imagination that is wounded first, rather than the heart; it being much more sensitive.”~ Henry David Thoreau
Your imagination is what sets your limits and controls your future. Every accomplishment was first an idea, a dream, a vision. So, doesn’t it stand to reason the more you dream, the more you succeed?
Tell me, APOOO, when did you last let your imagination run away with you?

Everything I have done or accomplished has been as a result of my overactive imagination and my dogged belief that anyting is possible…

I am currently running and trying to keep up with my dreams. I am back to school reaching for the goal of a college education. I am also currently writing stories I one day hope to see in print. I know both of these will happen and they both started inside my head.

I am always in the middle of a day dream - some I have acted out on - others, just wishful thinking. I need to jot some things down maybe then I could over come my dream of writing a book.
I love this. This is timely, right on time. I feel I am being led to act on some things.

‘Cilla you are putting yourself out there to be called on. Start with 5 words a day. These are the 5 words “It’s my dream to write.” Eventually, you will write more than those words. Then find yourself a writing group, whether online on face-to-face. I’m a part of one online that is great, you just have to take the first step and let me know. Then you will have a support system and it may not be tomorrow but it will happen; you name on the front cover of a book.
