Hello Victoria and welcome to APOOO.

In 140 words or less, tell us a little about you.

I’m a wife, mother, nurse practitioner and romance author. Although I enjoy writing, being a nurse is my first love. Some of my favorite pastimes are reading, knitting, traveling, and hanging out with family and friends.
In 140 words or less, tell us why your book would make a great addition to our personal library.

Key To My Heart is a heartfelt story about former lovers reuniting. You will find this story thought provoking as well as entertaining.

If you have read my previous titles A Special Summer and When Love Comes Around you were introduced to Ava Peretti. In her story, Key To My Heart, sensitive topics such as family secrets, infidelity, and the age old – light blacks vs. dark blacks – saga is touched upon.
What’s the main message you want readers to take away from Key to My Heart?

That love is a powerful emotion and it covers a multitude of sins.

What is your most surprising talent or interest – the one that makes people say “I didn’t know you (did/liked/knew)…”?

Most people are surprised when they’ve learned I’ve authored and co-authored several medical publications with a world-renowned physician/researcher.
You have just been hired to clean your own home, what is your first complaint?

“Where did all this stuff come from?!” LOL

If you had a shrinking device, what’s the one thing in your house you’d miniaturize first?

It would be the dirty laundry! With three kids and a husband I’m constantly jogging up and down the basement steps to the laundry room.
What’s one song that people would be surprised to know is on your IPod (or in your music collection)?

Sweet Home Alabama.
Is there a song that brings tears to your eyes every time you hear it? If so, which one?

Yes. Amazing Grace.
You’ve got no electricity, no Internet, no phone, and no car for two whole days. What do you do with yourself?  Catch up on my TBR list and journal. In 2010 I’m putting forth an effort to journal on a regular basis. When I do take the time to journal I find it to be very cathartic.
Name five things that make your world go round.

Having God in my life, my family, my close friends, my career as a nurse practitioner, and being able to forgive.

Thanks Victoria for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend with APOOO.
