La Jill Hunt introduces readers to Paisley Lawrence, better known as The Sensual Seductress. Paisley, a former video vixen, is the owner of The Playground, an erotic fitness studio. She had looks, men and a house to die for. The only thing missing was the only man that she loved, Warren Cobb. Warren is the hottest gospel singer in town who was married to Bishop Julian Arnold’s niece, Kolette. Bishop Arnold had one of the biggest congregations and he would do anything to remain in good grace. All hell breaks loose when Paisley and Warren are nearly killed in a car accident. Say It Ain’t So tells what happens when their paths cross.
Hunt has put together a fun story. There are a lot of very colorful and interesting characters that are trying to figure out what type of relationship Paisley and Warren have. I laughed and shook my head as I turned each page. Though I figured out Paisley’s mystery, I continued to read to see how Hunt would conclude the story.
