Lil Sister by Ana’Gia Wright is a story about Krystal Bao who is a teenager who has dealt with her fair share of tragedy in her young life. After finding her first love, Jerad, dead, her life was challenging from that point. To make matters worse, her parents strongly disapproved of her relationship with Jerad so, in an attempt to assert some authority, they denied Krystal her final goodbye to someone she loved dearly. As a result of her parents’ decision, Krystal decides to run away from home and be in the care of her deceased first love’s family, known as the The Trio.
