Been meaning to write a review of this. I generally enjoy Francis Ray, but lately have been finding her heroines problematic.

Case in point: I couldn't stand Paige, because although we were told how successful she was, she really didn't seem very bright. It's a wonder that she didn't hurt herself jumping to conclusions about her mother without really thinking anything through, for example.

Shane, though, was great, and I did end up liking their love story.

No secret I enjoy romance and Francis Ray is one of my favorites. I read this book. I had it on order so I got it when it arrived at the store. I enjoyed the book. It was not a steamy romance, but it was a nice story.
