Hello and welcome to A Love For All Times Virtual Book Tour celebrating the release of my new romance novel, When a Man Loves A Woman! I’m LaConnie Taylor-Jones and I am so honored to have my fourth virtual tour stop this week here with Yasmin Coleman and the wonderful readers of the APOOO Book Club!

In my new novel, Dr. A. J. Baptiste is faced with two major questions: What do you do when you are in love with a woman who won’t give you the time of day? How do you convince her that she really is meant to spend the rest of her life with you when she avoids you at all costs?

But does everyone have a soul mate in life?

A.J. believes he does and knows for a fact that he wants to spend the rest of his life with Victoria (Vic) Bennett, but she wants nothing to do with love and even less to do with him. Listen to my audio excerpt of the book to hear just how much Victoria Bennett is determined NOT to have a serious relationship with the handsome doctor!

To those of you who listen to my excerpt and post the answer to the trivia question I ask at the end of the excerpt to the comment section of this post TODAY, your name will be entered in a drawing to receive the following gifts during my time with you:
2 - $20 Amazon.com Gift Certificates
1 autograph copy of When a Man Loves a Woman

I am currently reading When I’m With You. I want to slap the snot out of Caitlyn for overreacting. Ok, she’s not real, only a character from a book. LOL

  8. Hi LaConnie, seems I should have run into you by now since you are in the Bay Area. Were you are RWA last weekend? Louise Snead, editor of AdC, where I am a reviewer had some great things to say about you? I hear you are very active in the San Francisco chapter. We hit the NAL and Harlequinn parties. Are you having any local signings soon?

  12. Does everyone have a soul mate in life? I cannot speak for the masses, but I found mine and we have a love for all times just like AJ and Vic . . . .woo-hoo!

Yasmin sis, thanks so much for hosting our Virtual Book Tour today. Your reading club and online community is F A B U L O U S and I expect more great things to come for your online organization!

LaConnie sis, “busy beavers” ain’t even the word to describe the avid readers of this online reading community. APOOO ROCKS sis! LOL!

Take care everyone and again, THANK YOU all for participating in this event!

  13. LaConnie,

I have truly enjoyed your readings. Vic was headed to the door.

  14. The answer is: Vic raced out of the living room, Into the foyer and straight to the bathroom

    Hi LaConnie,
I love both of your books. I am also glad to have had the opportunity to hear you read the excerpt. Makes me want to read the book again. The question about soulmates. My husand and I celebrate our 30th anniversary in a couple of months, I consider him the man that was meant for me However, that doesn’t mean that I believe that everyone has a soulmate. People have found love, lost love and found love again with someone else. How do you define a soulmate? Is this the person you plan to be with the rest of your life? Can you see yourself loving someone else? Do you really experience an electric shock like in the romance novels? I still get a tingly feeling. Is that the same? hmmmm

  15. Greetings, Jasmine and LaConnie.
Dropping by to show some sisterly love and support.
LaConnie, I’m too excited about this book.
    Wishing you fruitful blessings.

    Peace, Love, & Light,
    Vee

PS. Vic was headed to the foyer/bathroom;-)

  16. I absolutely can’t WAIT to read this book! I am so ready!!!

  17. This book was OUTSTANDING and LaConnie certainly answered both questions mentioned
“What do you do when you are in love with a woman who won’t give you the time of day?

How do you convince her that she really is meant to spend the rest of her life with you when she avoids you at all costs?”

The answers were delivered in such a way that you found yourself emersed in the story and the Baptiste became your family and their friends were yours as well.

  18. Me, again!!

~Laretta - thanks Sis for stopping by. I’m sooo looking forward to see you and the gang in Little Rock

~Marlive - thanks for everything you’ve done to make this tour such a wonderful success. And you’re right, APOOO does rock!!

~Toni - thanks for hanging out with me today. Got your answer, too.

~Pasty- Thanks for the answer. Okay, we must be twins. I’ve known my husband for 34 years and we’ve been married for 24. We met in high school and I truly believe he’s my soulmate. Do we always agree? Heck no!! But that brother’s got my back and I’ve got his. As for the stuff in the romance novels…child you can’t write about what you don’t know - LOL!!

~Vee - hello lady and thanks for showing a sista some love!! Got you answer, too.

~Ebony - Girl, glad you’re excited. Now g’on head and get that book - LOL!!

~Missy - That Baptiste Clan is a mess, ain’t they?? I’ve had a lot of fun brining these characters to life. I’m over half-way finished with Ray’s story and a new crop of folks have jumped on the scene - The Jacksons. You think the Baptistes or funny? Wait until you get a load of this bunch!!

All right gang, gotta run and take my boys to karate.

    (((((((((((((((((((((HUGS!!!!)))))))))))))))))))

    Much love,
    LaConnie
