When Love Comes Around by Victoria Wells

Victoria Wells introduced readers to Starr in her debut novel, A Special Summer. In its sequel, When Love Comes Around, Starr discovers that there is a possibility that she can never have children.  Feeling lonely and depressed, while in Vegas for a wedding, Starr lets her guard down and has one too many drinks.  She awakens the next day to find a man in her room.  It was not just any man; it was Kevin Dawson, a 6′4″ Boris Kodjoe look-a-like and self-proclaimed ladies man.  What had she done?  Starr faces making a decision that will change her life forever and it will also give her what she wants most of all.

Once again, Victoria Wells gives readers a very realistic and fun story to read.  Starr and Kevin are faced with issues of friendship, trust, forgiveness and love. There were several characters that reappeared, which added drama and intrigue to the story.  Wells has definitely given readers a story that is appealing and a page-turner.  I cannot wait to see what she has next for readers.
