Offer TWO tips for a successful book club meeting.

Meetings are a Must

Reading is a Must

If your group could have dinner with ONE author, who would be your group’s choice and why? Teri Woods, because we have enjoyed all of her books. We would love the opportunity to sit down and have a discussion with her.

GOTTA RUN BUT…BEFORE WE DEPART:

What makes your book club unique and different from any other book club?

I think we are unique because we are not just a book club but we are friends. We spend time with each other on a regular basis. We have a strong bond with each other.

Is your group currently accepting membership?  If so, whom should readers contact?

Yes, we are and they can contact Tiffany @ distinctladiesandgents@yahoo.com

How can readers reach your group on the Web?  www.distinctladiesandgents.com

http://www.myspace.com/distinctladiesandgents

Thanks Distinct Ladies Book Club for chatting with APOOO, and we wish you many more years of sharing and bonding via books!

  1. Hi, I’m a friend of Yvonne’s and spoke at her last conference. (I think it was her last!) She mentioned you all on Twitter and I thought I’d send you a little query for my novel This Is the Place. It won eight awards, minor but still awards including Reviewer’s Choice and a couple of Readers’ awards. The underlying theme is about the corrosive nature of subtle intolerance. There is even a study guide in the back. You can find more about the book at http://www.carolynhoward-johnson.com and while you’re there, find the resource guide on reading about tolerance in the links at the top of my pages.

Should you decide to read This Is the Place, I’d be pleased to send you all a signed label for the inside cover and gifts. Mmmm, that would be eight of you, right! The Fabulous Eight.

    Very best,
