We really do appreciate it! To answer some of the questions that were asked: Beginning next year we will be reviewing all genres...although we do not read every genre offered in the book club. I think after a while, you really learn the preference of the group as a whole, and some genres just don't work in all book clubs! I know that most of you know exactly what I'm talking about! Our book club actually does attend the National Book Club Conference each year, which started in 2006. I was the moderator for the "Maximizing Your Book Club Experience" panel discussion this year and will do so again, next year. So if you attend in 2009, please stop by and say hello! I had the pleasure(pun intended)of being at his book signing in Jacksonville Fl for the release of Pleause.....he was a really nice person and you could see the passion he has for his work and he takes delight in the readers finding the common thread from book to book.
