Never Say Never by Michele Cameron

When your soul mate or true love finds you there are no rules; the heart is blind to all stipulations and circumstances. Never Say Never by Michele Cameron brings together Desiree Diamond and Tyler Banks who have to fight against what others believe to be the right way.

Desiree is paired with Tyler on a lawsuit that could possibly put the law firm they work for on the map. Working closely together for the big win, both of them are dedicated and passionate about their jobs. It is at this time each begins to notice something different about the other; their attraction for one another sparks a relationship of more than just a lawyer and a paralegal. Tyler is of a different race, and though at times Desiree, who is black, was comfortable with it, it weighed heavily on her mind. Would they be able to look past what others think? Or will it all come to a crashing end before their relationship ever begins?

The plot is very realistic. Many couples struggle with interracial relationships. The question is how many actually allow what others say and do prevent them from being happily in love. Tyler was a little too perfect, but otherwise all the characters were well developed and easily pictured. The editing needed to be polished, but it did not take away from the story. I would recommend Never Say Never to readers who enjoy stories about interracial relationships and those who like the romance genre.
