WHAT ARE YOU READING RIGHT NOW?– The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

WHY ARE YOU READING WHAT YOU’RE READING? PLEASURE? FOR REVIEW? SOMETHING ELSE?– Pleasure and along with a couple of Book Buddies, Jennifer, Dera and Uriane (sp) from APOOO

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?– Passion's Furies by Altonya Washington

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL BE READING NEXT?– ???

WHAT WAS THE BEST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? WHY?–Passion's Furies by AlTonya Washington. Even though it was slow at times, I loved the historical telling of the story and the way she incorporated the fact that blacks were prejudices against themselves and cause each other a great deal of pain and suffering.

WHAT WAS THE WORST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? WHY? I was not the worst book but my biggest disappointment was Delaney's Desert Sheikh by Brenda jackson.. So many of her fans praise this book as the greatest love story she has ever written and it fell way short for me. I rated it a 3

WHAT ARE YOU READING RIGHT NOW? Blood Colony by Tananarive Due

WHY ARE YOU READING WHAT YOU’RE READING? Pleasure

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING? Up Pops the Devil by Angela Benson

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL BE READING NEXT? The next book in the Braddock Series. (reminds me of the nighttime soap Dynasty)

WHAT WAS THE BEST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? Up Pops the Devil. It was face paced, lots of drama and I thought the beginning and certain other elements was clever.

WHAT WAS THE WORST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? I won't say. Overall most of the books I read were 4 or 5 stars. Only one book made my reading time lag and I ended up skimming the rest of the book to get to the end.

WHAT ARE YOU READING RIGHT NOW?–A manuscript.

WHY ARE YOU READING WHAT YOU’RE READING? PLEASURE? FOR REVIEW? SOMETHING ELSE?–Something else.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?– "I Got Your Back" by Demetrius Jones Jr.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL BE READING NEXT?–Either "Kissed by the Devil" by Dashaun Taylor or "Officer Down" by Mo Shines.

WHAT WAS THE BEST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? WHY?–"Ski Mask Way" by Randy "Ski" Thompson. Fast paced and full of drama and laughs.

WHAT WAS THE WORST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? WHY? "Melody" by Stacy-Deanne. Disjointed and in need of developmental editing.

WHAT ARE YOU READING RIGHT NOW? True to the Game III
WHY ARE YOU READING WHAT YOU’RE READING? PLEASURE? FOR REVIEW? SOMETHING ELSE? Review

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING? Taken By Storm By Rochelle Allers

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL BE READING NEXT? Sex and the Single Braddock By Robyn Amos
WHAT WAS THE BEST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? WHY? Two Grooms and a Wedding By Adrianne Byrd - I was reading ALOT of Urban lit and it was a nice break. But I really did love the story and all of the twist and turns that got the reader to the end of the book
WHAT WAS THE WORST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? True to the Game III. I am not done and already I have read ahead to the end.....I have to read all of it to write a review, but I am very disappointed with the book. This is not in the same tradition of True to the Game. There is alot more I can say, but I will leave that debate alone.

WHAT ARE YOU READING RIGHT NOW?–Girl Talk by Shereen McKellar and Another Woman’s Husband by Angel Mechelle

WHY ARE YOU READING WHAT YOU’RE READING? PLEASURE? FOR REVIEW? SOMETHING ELSE?–Review! Shoot, I don’t know what pleasure reading is anymore. Girl Talk is for Urban-Reviews and Another Woman’s Husband is for OOSA.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?– A couple of manuscripts. One is complete, the other isn’t. I think readers will enjoy them both.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL BE READING NEXT?– I have a few on my TBR list, but I think I’m going to pull a pleasure out and check out Caroline McGill’s ‘A Dollar Outta Fifteen Cent 2: Money Talks Bullsh*t Walks’ since her newest one is to release.

WHAT WAS THE BEST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? WHY?– ‘The Game of Trife’ by Moses Miller. This is definitely a series and author to get locked into. He has a real talent when it comes to indulging readers.

WHAT WAS THE WORST BOOK YOU READ THIS MONTH? WHY? I believe it’s this mess ‘Girl Talk.’ I don’t like the cover, the characters, the errors it’s an anthology and the stories just stop. I could go on and on and on, but I won’t.
