In How Could She Do It by Nataisha Hill, readers are introduced to Kayla, a single woman looking for a change in her life. Kayla has dealt with her failed relationships the best way she knew how by relocating to another city. She meets Michael and begins a relationship that she believes is heading in the right direction.
Kayla starts seeing a change in Michael, which causes her to question their relationship. Michael has been keeping a secret and has done his best to keep it hidden. When Kayla realizes she has to do something about her relationship with Michael,an old boyfriend walks back into her life with a surprise of his own.
How Could She Do It is a story of consequences. The author has written a different style of betrayal and dishonesty. The characters were believable. The author’s introduction of revenge was not carried out and some themes in the story were repetitive, which caused an over kill to the storyline. However, I do recommend How Could She Do It to others.
