I am particularly thrilled that you picked up on the fact that a A NATURAL WOMAN is more than just a love story or a fanciful tale about a woman obsessed with her hair. Rhonda, yes, my agent, Janell Walden Agyeman, is a gem and I am fortunate to have her in my corner. Also, there was, indeed, a bit of behind-the-scenes drama with regards to the original cover, lol. But we eventually arrived at a workable compromise. If nothing else, I think the current cover conveys the essence of the main character, Professor Aliesha Eaton . . . Glad you like it. I love the cover. Ms. Johnson's agent spoke at our last writers group meeting and share an interesting story about the coverart for this book.
