Ms. Menchan, I thank you SO MUCH for your kind words. I am particularly thrilled that you picked up on the fact that a A NATURAL WOMAN is more than just a love story or a fanciful tale about a woman obsessed with her hair.

Rhonda, yes, my agent, Janell Walden Agyeman, is a gem and I am fortunate to have her in my corner. Also, there was, indeed, a bit of behind-the-scenes drama with regards to the original cover, lol. But we eventually arrived at a workable compromise. If nothing else, I think the current cover conveys the essence of the main character, Professor Aliesha Eaton . . . Glad you like it. Hope you enjoy the story just as much! :-)

Angelia,
I'm interested in reading this book. I love the cover. Ms. Johnson's agent spoke at our last writers group meeting and share an interesting story about the coverart for this book. You could tell she was very proud to represent her as a client, and I could tell by the other books she shared by her client's that she's very selective. I expect a great read.
