Greetings Pynk and welcome to APOOO.

In 140 words or less, tell readers why Sexaholics would make a great addition to our personal library.
Sexaholics is a voyeuristic view into the lives of four women who live for the ultimate high, and to them, that high is sex. I wanted to show what it’s like to have an uncontrollable sex drive, and what it would be like to be powerless over lust, engaging in riskier and riskier acts to the point that consequences don’t matter, including one’s job, family, and even their own life. Sexaholics would make a great addition to the personal library of those who first of all enjoy erotica, and secondly to the library of those who are open-minded and curious about what it would be like to experience a dramatic detox from any drug, but in particular, the three letter drug, S-E-X.

How did you come up with the plot for Sexaholics?
The term sexaholic was talked about quite a bit in 2002 when Eric Benet admitted he checked himself into a sex addiction clinic. Back then I registered the title Sexaholics with the Writer’s Guild, and decided I wanted to explore the concept of addiction as it relates to sex – specifically I wanted to focus on your average single women, as opposed the the people we usually hear about, well-known, married men.

Are you working on another book and, if so, can you share a brief summary with us?
I’ve just completed Sixty-Nine, the story of three women who are conservative, sexually repressed best friends, born in 1969 and who are about to turn the big 4-0. On New Year’s Eve, they vow to go beyond their boundaries and push the limits, vowing to live their sexy dreams. Sixty-Nine comes out in March 2011.

Thus far, what has been your favorite 2010 moment ?
My favorite moment was when all of my kids, grandkids, and I took an amazing family portrait together. Priceless!

Which living person do you most admire?
President Obama

What are your most overused words or phrases?
“I know that’s right.”

If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?
Shirley Chisholm – I’d thank her allowing me to live my teen years hearing about a strong, smart, brave black woman who was the first in so many ways, mainly the first African American to run for President. She made me proud to be a black female. If she could only see our President now!

What is your biggest pet peeve?
Lookie loos – especially on the freeway

What is your most surprising talent or interest – the one that makes people say “I didn’t know you (did/liked/knew)…”?
I’m a pool shark

What’s one song that people would be surprised to know is on your IPod (or in your music collection)?
Biggie Smalls – Hypnotize (I know every single word)

Name five things that make your world go round.
God.
People.
Love.
Laughter.
Books.
Caramel Frappuccinos (oh sorry, 5)
