Ol-Timer is the anticipating follow up to Arlene Brathwaites’ Youngin’. The story immediately picks up with Brian Moore having only served six months on a fifty- to -life prison sentence. After putting in appeals and being denied, he feels as if he has nothing to lose, so if you step to him, be prepared to get dealt with, even if it means losing your life. On the outside of the prison walls, Jennifer is out to revenge the murder of her sister and she wants everyone involved to pay and she will stop at nothing to make this happen.

I really enjoyed reading this sequel. Ms. Brathwaite has a style of her own that instantly draws the reader into the story. In my opinion, she did an excellent job in this follow-up.
