Original Sin by Bridget Midway features three futuristic stories which incorporate elements of or people from Biblical times. Cyborgs created by the evil Dr. Lars Urlean have either the potential to save the world or be the destruction of it. But, there are good forces working to undo the evil that the menacing doctor has set into motion.

In Adam and E-V-E, both Lieutenant Adam B’Luven and cyborg Emergency Violator Equalizer or E-V-E have their orders to protect the few inhabitants left on Earth from the evil Cerillions. But there is a big problem; Adam has major issues working alongside a non-human like E-V-E. Sure, for a cyborg, her porcelain-like skin and red hair are alluring to dusky, brown-skinned Adam but she represents everything he abhors. But, in order to save Earth, he either has to get past his issues and really get close to E-V-E or risk the lives of the innocent. So, which will he choose?

In C-A-I-N and A-B-E-L, Dr. Sonjie Tuumlar, has the task of making sure the two cyborgs, Cain and Abel, who look so similar they could pass as brothers, are in top shape in order to fight in the war against the Cerillions. But as the day draws near for the cyborgs departure, Dr. Tuumlar becomes more and more attached to the men in more ways than one. In turn, both men have come to cherish her. So, will this outcome end in peace or will Cain or Abel become the other brother’s keeper in the literal sense?

In Sodom and Gomorrah, Dr. Noah Witt is a scientist given the exhausting task of interviewing cyborgs trying to figure out which ones can be salvaged to fight the good fight. Mostly, all of the cyborgs created by Dr. Lars Urlean were used for carnal pleasure. So, to find one that would not give vital information once tortured was quite hard. When Dr. Witt¢s path crosses with Vivian Yarbeck, she claims she is not a cyborg but human and wants to be freed from the hell of being around the sex-crazed machines. But will he relent and have a heart or will they both become each other’s downfalls.

Original Sin is a steamy read that keeps readers enthralled until the very end. Each story is packed full of action, interesting characters and of course, loads of sex. While each story has its own unique twist, C-A-I-N and A-B-E-L is a clear stand out. The story completely embodies the qualities of good and evil while giving readers something undeniably erotic. I recommend Original Sin to readers who do not have inhibitions when it comes to reading about different types of carnal pleasures.
