We all at one time or another want to find the perfect mate, but is there such a person? The Perfect Man by ASTARR makes you wonder if one will ever truly know the person they fall in love with and want to call the “perfect” match for you.
Shalove “Shay” seems to have a very hard time picking the perfect man. Leaving an abusive relationship to pick up a man in the grocery store, who has his own secret identity, leaves Shay needing to shop to feel a little better. When she runs into an old flame, her world seemed to change. Taylor was back in her life, and he would not let her out of his sight. He truly loved her and wanted to be with her forever, even if he had his own secret life.
Poetry “Poe” had dated her boyfriend, Bronson, for three years. When he stands her up for dinner, then shows up late for lunch the next day, she checks his actions. She did not realize her actions were the right thing to do, until one night at a comedy show, when it seems like the joke is on her and Shay.
The Perfect Man by ASTARR is drama-filled and filled with many unforeseen twists. I found myself at times laughing out loud, which I probably should not have been doing but it was all just too funny. I read a PDF version and while it was not a polished version it was still entertaining and an enjoyable read. I recommend The Perfect Man to anyone looking for a short and quick read; there is however explicit sexual acts.
