Pretty Much Dead by Billy D. Jarrett is a wonderful story to read. As a reader, what I enjoyed most about this book was the fact that though this is Billy’s story, it could be any man’s or any woman’s story, give or take a few elements. As human beings we all experience different things in our lives that we do not have any control over. But those life experiences do not have to hold negative weight over our lives forever; we can make a decision that will allow ourselves to find redemption. The few grammatical errors within this book do not take away from this story. I recommend this book to everyone but especially people looking to reflect on life.
