Hey Yas! You remain in my thoughts, and I’m praying for a speedy recovery for you!

This week, I attended my great aunt’s 90th birthday celebration in Wichita, Kansas, and we had family come in from all over these United States, so it was just like a family reunion! It was so great to see family and not for a sad event, like a funeral, so we had a lot of fun!

Now, with that said, I did not read anything from my Challenge List! LOL! I did, however, read while I was on the plane, and I finished Careful of The Company You Keep by Angie Daniels (the last book in a trilogy, which was very good with great characters, and a lot of drama!!) and Temperatures Rising by Brenda Jackson, which was excellent!

My next reads are: The List by Sherri Lewis, Bring On the Blessing by Beverly Jenkins, and Some Like It Hot by Brenda Jackson!

Finished up That Devil's No Friend of Mine. Enjoyed a quickie, Rochelle Alers' The Sweetest Temptation. Then began reading According To Their Deeds by Paul Robertson, which is the closest thing to Christian literary fiction I've ever encountered. It feels like reading a book written decades ago, in part because the pace is slower than I've grown accustomed to, but it's an interesting murder mystery so I'll keep reading.
