Risque’ did not disappoint in her anticipated novel, Red Light Special. Monday Smith appeared to have it all. As wife of the mayor of New York, she smiled when the cameras flashed, held babies with her husband, and appeared to not have a care in the world. But behind closed doors, her life was not as well as people expected. Kenyatta, her husband, had a serious infidelity issue. As if anonymous babies cropping up was not the kicker, Monday had to contend with a situation that was making her husband psychotic and her home life even more unlivable. Yet, he expected her to stay by his side as the good little politician’s wife. What he did not know was Monday had her own secrets.
Collyn Bazemore inherited her mother’s escort service and only employed top-notch girls. When Kenyatta Smith failed to attend a meeting with her, opting to send a partner in his place, Collyn felt uneasy yet captivated by the man who sat before her. Will she give in to temptation or follow her instincts?
Risque wrote a book that will have readers on fire! The sex was beyond hot and the plot was beyond intense. Red Light Special is well-written, realistic, and will hold your attention to the very end. It was unpredictable and exciting; two things I love to see. I recommend Red Light Special to erotica lovers and those who are looking for a quick, scandalous read.
