Cartier is back and this time with revenge on her mind in this sequel, Return of the Cartier Cartel 2 by Nisa Santiago. Cartier is tired of the drug game and feels it is time to retire from the game. A tragedy occurs that takes away two of her employees and she cannot let it pass. Cartier is hell bent on finding out who killed her friends. While investigating their murders, Cartier uncovers information that will cause her to deal with individuals that she least suspected.
Cartier’s husband, Jason, is still up to his old tricks but this time it seems he has taken it too far. Jason starts a relationship with the enemy but unbeknownst to him he has gotten his self in too deep. The rules of the game still apply and Jason will soon find out that every action has its consequences.
Cartier Cartel 2 is full of devious characters and exciting twists and turns. It is a page-turner of shear entertainment. The author’s ability to draw readers into her characters’ world makes reading her work worth it. The treachery in this book is unbelievable and true to the word of keeping your enemies close. Readers will find the ending to be shocking. I look forward to reading more from this author and definitely recommend this book to others.
